Green Home Experts is hiring a Showroom Sales Associate with experience in retail and/or interior design or construction management. This position is for 10-20 hours per week.
This employee must be self-motivated, enjoy sales, and strive for excellence. In this fast- paced business, the right candidate must be able to think creatively and critically, handle multiple tasks and clients at once, and contribute to a team atmosphere.
The primary responsibility of the showroom sales associate is sales and customer service. This requires performance of the following:
Design:
–Reading drawings to create materials estimates
–Creating cabinet designs
–Assisting customers with design and remodel ideas and problem solving
Customer Service:
–Greeting customers and offering assistance in all departments
–Answering questions and giving information about our products
–Scheduling and meeting with clients for their design projects
–Following up on questions, research, and the clients’ needs
–Tracking samples that are loaned from our resource library
Sales:
–Meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals
–Creating estimates for design projects and sending them to the client in a timely manner
–Following up on the estimates with a phone call and/or email
–Creating purchase orders in POS and sending them to the vendor
–Following up with vendor regarding delivery dates, credit terms, etc.
–Remaining in touch with the client until their product is delivered and project is complete
–Sending clients hand written thank you notes after the product is delivered
Marketing:
–Creating price lists, cut sheets, and signage as needed
–Contributing ideas for growing awareness about and sales in the showroom
–Branding Green Home Experts as the local destination for all things green
–Maintaining customer database
Showroom Maintenance:
–Maintaining sales brochures and samples in the showroom
–Keeping the showroom neat and orderly
–Updating displays and samples as needed
The showroom sales associate must be able to lift 40+ lbs., stand for long periods of time, and be proficient in point of sale software, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. To be considered for an interview, please send your resume and compensation history to gogreen@ghexperts.com.
